La pesadilla del inicio de 2016 ha continuado para el español Alex Márquez, quien se ha caído al comienzo de la segunda vuelta cuando luchaba por la 11ª posición tras haber salido 15º.

Márquez tampoco pudo terminar la carrera inaugural en Qatar y ahora está decidido a dar la vuelta a la situación en la próxima cita en Texas que se disputará el próximo fin de semana.

Alex Márquez: “No entiendo qué ha pasado. He perdido el control de la moto tanto de delante como de detrás, así que está claro que no estoy teniendo suerte en este inicio de temporada. Tenemos que cambiar esto en la próxima carrera en Texas. Lo positivo es que he dado un buen paso con la puesta a punto de la moto aquí y ahora tenemos que ir a Austin y tirar fuerte. Creo que tengo el potencial para conseguir resultados mucho mejores”.

The nightmare start to the 2016 season continued for Spanish rider Alex Marquez who crashed out at the start of lap two as he fought for track position in 11th after qualifying 15th.

Marquez also failed to finish the opening race in Qatar and is now determined to reverse his unlucky run at the next race in Texas that will take place on the weekend.

Alex Marquez: “I don’t understand what happened, I lost control of the bike both front and rear so luck is not running my way at the start of the season. We need to change this at the next race in Texas. The positive is that we did a good step with the bike set-up here and now we need to go to Austin and push hard. I believe I have the potential to get much better results.»
