Álex Márquez, regresa a la acción este fin de semana en el Gran Premio de Aragón tras quedarse fuera de la última carrera debido a las lesiones producidas en la caída sufrida durante la primera sesión libre en Misano.

El piloto del Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS contará con el calor de la afición española este fin de semana en MotorLand Aragón, donde el año pasado logró su primer podio en Moto2. Los aficionados que acudan al circuito animarán al ex campeón del mundo de Moto3 para que siga con su dominio en España, después de haber vencido en Jerez y Catalunya esta temporada.

Aunque Álex todavía no está totalmente recuperado de la lesión en la cadera que se produjo en Misano, confía en que su condición física no sea un problema este fin de semana.

Álex Márquez: «Aragón será mi tercera carrera en España esta temporada y, por supuesto, estaría bien repetir las victorias de Jerez y Barcelona este fin de semana, pero también tengo que ser realista. Llego a MotorLand después de caerme en Misano y aunque mi condición física es buena, todavía no me he recuperado totalmente de la lesión. Aún faltan unos cuantos días para poder seguir entrenando y espero estar todavía mejor cuando saltemos a la pista el viernes. Veremos cómo va, pero llego a la última carrera antes del triplete súper motivado y confío en poder hacer un buen trabajo este fin de semana en Alcañiz.”

Álex Márquez, returns to action in the Grand Prix of Aragón after sitting out the last race with an injury sustained in a crash during the opening free practice session in Misano.

Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider will also have the support of his home fans this weekend at MotorLand Aragón, where he secured his first Moto2 podium with the second place in last year’s race. The partisan Spanish crowd will certainly be keen to see the former Moto3 World Champion continue his domination in Spain, having won in both Jerez and Catalunya already this season.

While Álex is still not fully recovered from the hip injury sustained in Misano, he is confident that his physical condition will not be an issue this weekend.

Álex Márquez: «Aragón is my third race at home in Spain this season and, of course, it would be nice to repeat the wins in Jerez and Barcelona this weekend, but we also need to be realistic. I head to MotorLand after the crash in Misano and while my physical condition is good, I am still not fully recovered from the injury. I still have a few days yet to continue training and I hope that by the time we take to the track on Friday my physical condition will have improved further. We will see how it goes, but I go into the last race before we head overseas fully motivated and I’m confident that we can do a good job this weekend in Alcañiz.»
