Y es que exprimir al máximo el tiempo en pista y pulir todos los detalles pendientes ha sido el objetivo generalizado de pilotos y equipos y, como no, también del Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS. Buenos resultados, buenas dinámicas, trabajo en equipo y preparados para afrontar el año con garantías. En la última tanda del día se ha hecho un segundo simulacro, pero en este caso, abriendo gas al máximo y simulando la estrategia de lucha por la Pole Position. Simulación que llevado a Márquez ha firmar su mejor tiempo de los test parando el crono en 1:58.948. Ha sido el octavo mejor registro del día y de la combinada general del test.

Hay un par de oponentes que tienen mejor ritmo de carrera pero estoy contento porque he sido muy constante y me he mantenido el ritmo hasta el final, marcando la vuelta rápida en el penúltimo giro. Sólo nos falta una décima por vuelta para poder ganar la carrera. El simulacro de cualificación no ha ido tan bien pero no me preocupa en exceso porque con la adrenalina del sábado se podrá sacar. Estoy contento y preparado. El equipo ha hecho un gran trabajo.»

The general objective of the riders and teams has been to squeeze the maximum out of the time on track and polish all the final details, and Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS was no exception. The Spanish-Belgian structure is prepared to face the year confident of success, with good results, good mood and good teamwork during testing meaning it has been a very fruitful pre-season.

Alex Márquez, 8th, 1:58.948, 52 laps, 280 km: «I’m very happy with my race pace because the simulation has gone very well. We can still improve a bit and we’re not there to win yet. There are a couple of opponents who have a better race pace but I’m happy because I was very constant and I kept the pace until the end, setting the fastest lap in the penultimate lap. We only need one tenth per lap to win the race. The qualifying simulation didn’t go so well but I’m not too worried because with Saturday’s adrenaline it can be improved. I’m happy and ready. The team has done a great job.”
