Las desapacibles y traicioneras condiciones vividas hoy en el Gran Premio de Alemania pasado por agua, han terminado con las opciones de podio del piloto del Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Álex Márquez.

El número 73 ha vivido un cruel desenlace tras mostrar su talento y bravía en unas condiciones muy difíciles en el circuito de Sachsenring.

Márquez se ha caído dos veces después de mostrar un gran ritmo que le había colocado en la lucha por el podio.

Tras colocarse noveno en la primera vuelta, Márquez ha tirado fuerte hasta el cuarto puesto justo por detrás de Morbidelli en la vuelta 14, pero una vuelta después, en la 15, se ha caído en la curva 10.

El piloto de Cervera ha vuelto a la carrera, pero cuando estaba octavo, se ha vuelto a caer en la vuelta 25.

Álex Márquez: DNF: «La carrera iba muy bien durante la primera parte, pero al final no hemos logrado un buen resultado. Si soy sincero, me lo he pasado bien en la carrera, me he divertido pilotando y he tenido buenas sensaciones con la moto en tan malas condiciones. Cuando me he caído por primera vez, me he dicho, vamos, puedes volverlo a hacer y coger al grupo, pero me he vuelto a caer. Las dos veces ha sido mi error y es una pena porque hoy teníamos opciones de subir al podio. Pero en estas condiciones puede pasar esto, solo depende de tener buena suerte o no tenerla.”

Treacherous conditions end podium bid by Márquez

Bleak and treacherous conditions ended the podium charge by Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider Álex Márquez in today’s rain hit German Grand Prix.

It was cruel blow for the rider who showed superb skill and bravery in very difficult conditions on the rollercoaster Sachsenring layout.

Márquez crashed twice after showing that he had the pace to join the podium.

After settling in ninth on the opening lap Márquez had impressively pushed to fourth, right behind Morbidelli, on lap 14 before sliding off at turn 10 on lap 15.

Márquez rejoined but made his final exit from 8th place with another crash on lap 25.

Álex Márquez: DNF: «The race was going so well for the first half but in the end it was not a good result. If I am honest I enjoyed the race, I really enjoyed riding with very good feedback from the bike in the poor conditions. When I crashed the first time I said ‘come on, you can do it again and catch the group in front’ but then I crashed again. It was my mistake both times and it is a pity because today we had the chance to make the podium. But wet conditions are like this, you have either bad or good luck.»
