Álex Márquez ha completado dos días de entrenamientos en el circuito de Spielberg, dando su visto bueno al trazado austriaco.

Spielberg abrirá la segunda mitad de la temporada dentro de unas semanas y el piloto del Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS está deseando volver a un circuito en el que ha completado casi 200 vueltas en estos dos días.

El objetivo principal para Márquez en estos test, era aprenderse el circuito de 4,318km, que se estrenará en el calendario de MotoGP esta temporada. Pero de paso, el de Cervera ha aprovechado para ajustar la puesta a punto de su Kalex de Moto2 para adaptarla a las características del trazado, el cual cuenta con siete curvas a la derecha y tres a la izquierda, además de constantes cambios de elevación.

El Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS regresará a Austria en el mes de Agosto, para dar comienzo a la segunda parte de la temporada 2016.

»Estoy contento de estar aquí en Spielberg y, después de dos días de entrenamientos, puedo decir que el circuito me gusta mucho; es muy interesante. Todavía tenemos que mejorar un poco la vuelta rápida cuando volvamos para la carrera, pero estoy tranquilo porque sabemos los que tenemos que hacer. Ahora toca relajarse un poco para cargar las pilas, antes de regresar a Austria para comenzar la segunda parte de la temporada, y espero hacerlo con un buen resultado.”

Positive Spielberg test for Márquez

Álex Márquez gave the Spielberg circuit in Austria his seal of approval, after concluding a successful two-day test at the track this afternoon.

Spielberg will host the first race of the second half of the season in just a few weeks time and Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider is looking forward to returning, after racking up almost 200 laps over the course of the two days.

The main goal for Márquez was learning his way around the 4.318km circuit, which appears on the MotoGP calendar for the first time this season. However the rider from Cervera also found time to refine the set up of his Kalex Moto2 machine to better suit the characteristics of the track, which features seven right and three left corners and constant changes of elevation.

Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS will return to Austria in August to get the second half of the 2016 underway.

«I’m happy to be here in Spielberg and, after two days of testing, I can say that I like this track a lot; it’s very interesting. We still need to find some improvement in the lap time when we return here for the race, but I’m confident that we know how to do this. Now it’s time to relax a little and recharge the batteries before coming back to Austria to start the second half of the season, hopefully with a good result.»
