El buen tiempo ha permitido a Álex rodar cómodamente y completar el plan de trabajo fijado para el primer test del año.  Adaptarse al nuevo motor Triumph 765cc, recuperar sensaciones encima de la moto y validar el trabajo técnico realizado durante el invierno. Estos han sido los principales ejes de un test que ha acabado con un simulacro de carrera a 25 vueltas en el Circuito Ricardo Tormo.

Álex Márquez ha completado un total de 142 vueltas (67 el primer día y 72 el segundo) y 568 km. El 73 centró el primer día en encontrar una buena puesta a punto, sobretodo a nivel de suspensiones y motor, así como en trabajar la posición encima de la moto. Así el segundo día se ha podido centrar en mejorar el ritmo y llevar a cabo un simulacro de carrera en el que ha conseguido rodar en buenos tiempos.

Con mucha información y la satisfacción del trabajo bien hecho, Álex Márquez y todo el Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS pone rumbo a Jerez de la Frontera, ciudad que acogerá una segunda tanda de test privados de 2019 los próximos días 11 y 12 de Febrero.

Alex Márquez, 142 vueltas, 568 km: “He tenido muy buenas sensaciones tras un invierno que se me ha hecho eterno. Hemos trabajado duro y hemos progresado en algunos aspectos que habían quedado pendientes en los últimos test de Jerez. Las sensaciones con el motor Triumph han sido buenas así que nos hemos podido centrar en mi estilo de pilotaje, sobretodo en salida de curva. Hemos podido hacer un simulacro de carrera y estoy contento con el ritmo que he marcado. Me he sentido cómodo y los tiempos han salido pero hay que seguir trabajando.

Good sensations for Álex Márquez in the first private test at Valencia

The good weather has allowed Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS to ride comfortably and complete the work plan set for the first test of the year.  Adapting to the new Triumph 765cc engine and validating the technical work done during the winter were the main targets of a test that ended with a 25-lap race simulation at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.

Alex Márquez completed a total of 142 laps (67 on the first day and 72 on the second) to complete 568 km. The number 73 focused on finding a good set-up on the first day, especially working on suspension and engine modifications, as well as rider position on the bike. The second day was focused on improving the rhythm and carrying out a race simulation in which Marquez managed to set good times.

With a lot of information collected and satisfaction of a job well done, Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS now heads to Jerez de la Frontera, the city that will host the second round of private tests in 2019 on 11 and 12 February.

Alex Márquez: 142 laps, 568 km: «I’ve had a very good feeling after a winter that’s been very long. We have worked hard and we have made progress in some areas that we wanted to improve compared to the last test at Jerez. The feeling with the Triumph engine has been good, so we have been able to focus on my riding style, especially on corner exit. We were able to do a race simulation and I am happy with the pace I set. I felt comfortable and the times were fast but we have to keep working.”
